Zach Pollack and Steve Samson

Zach Pollack and Steve Samson share an almost religious devotion to Italian cuisine. While Samson’s Bolognese mother exposed him to great cooking at an early age, Pollack was inspired during a university semester abroad in Florence. In 2009 they opened Pizzeria Ortica in Orange County with chef David Myers, and last year brought their craft to West L.A. at Sotto. Recently, Sotto was declared the best new restaurant in L.A. by Los Angeles magazine.
