Suzanne Goin + David Lentz
An alumna of legendary Chez Panisse, Suzanne Goin continues the finest traditions of California Cuisine at Lucques, her acclaimed restaurant in West Hollywood. One of America’s most prominent female chefs, Goin pioneered the wine bar and small plate concept at her popular A.O.C., which recently moved into new digs, and blends fine dining with the spirit of a neighborhood bistro at Tavern in Brentwood. She offers convenience at The Larder at Maple Drive and The Larder at Burton Way.
Suzanne Goin’s husband, David Lentz, first came to prominence at Los Angeles’ Opaline, then created The Hungry Cat, first in Hollywood, then in Santa Barbara and Santa Monica. The Cat celebrates the seafood of Lentz’s native Maryland, as well as showcasing the diverse resources of the California Coast. Angelenos know The Hungry Cat is the place to go for a great platter from the raw bar. Together, Goin and Lentz may be L.A.’s most prominent culinary power couple!
